Kyle Platts’ Festival Frenzy
Kyle Platts has obviously been to a few music festivals in his time. This double sided 2m-long Leporello fold out has every kind of festivalgoer and eventuality sussed.
Characterised by its concertina paper fold presentation – one favoured by publishers Nobrow – Platts Festival Frenzy is essentially a book you can frame as a print.
Against a backdrop of mischief and joyousness, hundreds of pictorial tales are told, including questionable culinary choices, public defecation, and the many pitched battles between festival-goers and security.
Every typology is covered as well, be it lost hippy, drug fiend, people inflicting their own music on others, cranks, ravers, aging nudists, attention seekers, flag-waving enthusiasts, people covered in mud, and people having a good time.
Nobrow calls it, ‘The ideal gift for comic fans, art lovers, and music enthusiasts.’
Festival Frenzy is illustrated by Kyle Platts and published by Nobrow, and is priced £18.00.
