Architecture Week goes Green

Contemporary architecture and its impact on the environment will be the main themes of next week’s Architecture Week 2007.

In its 11th year, Architecture Week 2007 will highlight the industry through a programme of national and regional events presented to the public.

The week kicks off on Monday at P3 at the University of Westminster in London, and is hosted by the university, Arts Council England, the Royal Institute of British Architects and Architecture Centre Network.

Under the main theme – How Green is Our Space? – the events will look at all aspects of the environment from climate change, Green roofs, recycled building materials and sustainable design through to physical green spaces within the built environment.

Architecture Week takes place from 15 to 24 June. For more information, visit www.architectureweek.org.uk.
