Jones Knowles Ritchie has appointed former Brandhouse managing director Mark Gandy as managing director. He replaces Nir Wegrzyn, who left the consultancy suddenly in June last year after almost ten years with the group.
Prior to Gandy’s appointment, JKR chief executive officer Andy Knowles and creative director Ian Ritchie adopted the managing director role in the short term.
‘I will be helping in continuing the company to grow from its already incredible foundation’, says Gandy.
Gandy left Brandhouse in March after 12 years to pursue other interests. It is understood that he has not yet been replaced.
Previously, he worked on the client side at Shell International, before moving into business development positions at Grey Matter, Design House and the Jenkins Group.
Wegrzyn left JKR last June and launched Brandopus this February, along with JKR’s former design director Paul Taylor and two account directors from the consultancy.
