Financial services group Alliance & Leicester is to revamp its website and has appointed Start Creative to carry out the work.
The bank made the decision to refresh the design in an attempt to improve navigation and functionality to meet consumer and business needs.
‘Our goal is to deliver a simple and straightforward website that will support our customers,’ says director of e-commerce at Alliance & Leicester Ian Tandy. ‘One of our aims is to deliver a truly innovative website to provide the relevant set of tools and information to guide and help customers navigate more effectively through the site’.
Start has been briefed with creating a ‘professional, contemporary-looking site that reflects a modern, forward-looking direct bank’. It should be straightforward through navigation, customer journeys and ease of use.
By reinforcing the brand proposition, the new site aims to improve levels of customer service and increase growth of sales on-line.
As part of the project, Start will take a look at the design principles and information architecture, and review copy style and tone of voice.
