D&AD’s international graduate recruitment show New Blood kicks off tonight at Earls Court, London SW5.
New Blood 2008 will showcase the work of graduates of graphic design, packaging and product design courses, as well as communication arts, advertising, digital media, illustration and photography.
A conference is running alongside the exhibition, featuring presentations by Landor Associates creative Ben Marshall and Saffron Brand Consultants founder Wally Olins, among others.
Marshall is to give an introduction to the creative industries, while Olins will talk about his Branding Handbook.
Williams Murray Hamm creative partner Garrick Hamm will host a training and advice session for graduates on the subject of work placements.
An exhibition of the work of the D&AD Student Awards 2008 nominees will also be on display at Earls Court.
D&AD expects more than 7000 people to attend this year’s show, and claims that it has attracted more than 100 exhibitors from universities and colleges from the UK and overseas.
New Blood runs from 23-25 June, with training and advice sessions taking place at the Royal Institute of British Architects, London W1 on Thursday 26 June.
