Kemistry brands European football channel
Kemistry has designed the branding for a new Eastern European sports channel called Digisport, which will broadcast top-league football from across Europe.
Broadcast graphics specialist Kemistry has produced a logo, six idents, an on-screen presentation system and live sports graphics for the channel, intended to suggest movement.
The on-screen graphics depict a bird’s-eye view of a football pitch, and will show famous goals from football history.
The portfolio of goals includes Diego Maradona’s second goal in the Argentina-England game in the 1986 Mexico World Cup and Gheorghe Hagi’s 1994 US World Cup Romania-Colombia game. One ident depicts Ferenc Puskas’ goal for Hungary, which led to the team beating England 6-3 in 1953.
Digisport president Alex Oprea describes the new branding as having ‘real stand-out’ among sports channels.
Kemistry also consulted on set design for the channel.
Digisport launches in Hungary in July and in Romania in August.
Well, DigiSport launched at the same time in Romania and Hungary: 23rd of July 🙂
The channel will broadcast a lot of European Football Leagues, including England, Spain, Germany and Romania; the ATP World Tour [about 10 tournaments]; NBA and others.
