Origin appointed to Manga films work
Cheshire-based consultancy Origin Creative is working on the design and marketing for new releases from cult Japanese animation film company Manga Entertainment.
Origin was appointed following a competitive review process that took place last month, according to new business director Duncan Slater. The consultancy will now work on packaging, advertising and promotional support materials for 16 new UK Manga releases.
Slater says the first release is due out in mid- to late September, with the rest of the work set to roll out for five months after that. He adds, ‘For many, Manga is a brand synonymous with bringing Japanimation into the mainstream. We’re delighted to play our part in developing its success story.’
Origin Creative has also been appointed to create a Christmas campaign for WWRD Holdings, the new owner of porcelain brands Waterford, Wedgewood and Royal Doulton.
