Former Selfridges boss Vittorio Radice joins Conran

Former Selfridges chief executive Vittorio Radice is joining Conran Holdings as a non-executive director.

Radice will oversee a ‘very special project’ at the group, according to Conran Holdings chairman Sir Terence Conran.

Radice, who formerly worked with Conran at Habitat, has also worked for Marks & Spencer, Italian department store la Rinascente and Thai retailer Central Retail Corporation.

Conran says, ‘Vittorio’s appointment is tremendously exciting and was welcomed by the board unanimously. I once called him the brightest spark on the high street and Vittorio remains that and more.’

He adds, ‘He has vision, a fascinatingly creative mind and is an exceptional retailer with a proven record. He has so much to offer our business and we have one very special project in the pipeline that I personally believe was made for Vittorio to oversee.’

Radice says, ‘From early in my career I have admired Terence’s unique ability to apply his own style to multiple activities. From design to retail, from food to furniture he has been a true lifestyle creator. I am excited to join his board to help in the next phase of the development of the Conran brand.’
