Appointed following a three-way pitch held at Wembley Stadium in April, the Salford-based consultancy was asked to develop communications which clubs could take ownership of, to effectively market themselves.
Under the What’s Your Pitch? banner, resources including animated videos will help the 37 500 clubs across 1100 leagues better promote themselves through sponsorship opportunities and increase their profile within local communities.
Primarily focused on clubs ‘with between a few hundred and a few thousand supporters’, according to Raw founder Rob Watson, visitors to the FA website will find a short video that sums up the campaign before opening five more instructional films.
There will also be a diagnostic area to see how successful current campaigns are.
The resources will take on a ‘retro feel’, says Watson, and will not carry any FA branding ‘as smaller clubs don’t want to feel there is a top down approach’.
Watson expects the resources to launch in October.
