D.Studio has created the branding for the Toucan Training Club, a new gym offering tailored exercise programmes for those want to avoid ‘posing meatheads’.

D.Studio has looked to differentiate the brand from other gyms or personal trainer services by creating a look that is ‘inviting, informal and cool but at the same time effective and credible,’ says Anson.

The identity has a ‘fun and playful’ feel ‘but lets people know they can get seriously fit,’ adds Anson, who says the business owners are looking to disrupt the sector.

The Toucan bill logo has been designed as an ‘ownable and recognisable’ icon which can be extrapolated ‘to humourous effect’ says Anson.

    Love the Beak Marque!

    If it’s a ‘New Gym’ offering a ‘New’ bespoke way to train – not offered by competitors – then why go for a look with a retro, dated feel which implies the opposite?
