Elmwood picks head of Edinburgh office

Elmwood has appointed Jo Coomber, who previously oversaw global marketing communications at Sony Ericsson, as managing director of its Edinburgh office.

Coomber (pictured) will start her role at the beginning of April and takes over from Nick

Ramshaw, who is moving to head the consultancy’s Leeds office following the departure of Jayne Barrett last July.

At Sony Ericsson, Coomber was responsible for the development of key global integrated marketing and brand-building campaigns.

Prior to her stint at Sony Ericsson, she worked as brand manager at the Financial Times and brand communications manager at Reuters.

Nicolas Mamier was appointed as managing director of Elmwood’s London office in November 2006, following the departure of Don Landers.
