Ted Baker opens City of London concept store

Fashion retailer Ted Baker is opening a concept store in the City of London this week, which will house a slew of complementary retail brands.

Ted Baker & Friends, a 420m2 store, which has been created by Ted Baker’s London design team, will comprise an in-house tailor, a King of Shaves grooming room, and a gadget store via a tie-up with Carphone Warehouse.

According to Ted Baker brand communication director Craig Smith, Ted Baker’s in-house designers have created everything from graphics, branding, packaging and point-of-sale material to interiors for the store. As well as a team of 30 designers working in 2D and 3D, the business employs a 20-strong visual merchandising team from its London offices.

The store is situated at 120 Cheapside, in London EC2, close to St Paul’s Cathedral.
