Design, marketing and events company Photolink Creative Group is launching a website offering potential clients free branding advice.
The Manchester-based consultancy will offer businesses a free ‘creative audit’ covering anything from branding to marketing and communications on www.nofeecreative.co.uk. This would be followed by a free strategy session, with both sessions taking up to a day each.
‘There are no strings attached, so our clients can walk away after these sessions without having to buy anything, but then again they might want to work with us,’ says a Photolink spokeswoman.
The group would charge ‘normal’ rates for any further work for the client, including design work. ‘If not, they will still get a comprehensive plan of how to implement what we suggest,’ says the spokeswoman.
Photolink’s scheme is the latest in a series of free or reduced-fee initiatives that have attracted criticism by the Design Business Association in the past few months.
