Hamburg aircraft interiors expo kicks off

Aircraft Interiors Expo 2009 opens today in Hamburg.

This year’s show will feature two new zones, focusing on inflight entertainment and inflight services, which includes tableware, cutlery and food and beverage packaging.

Both these areas are becoming more popular with exhibitors, according to the show’s organisers, Reed Exhibitions.

Also on show will be James Park Associates’ new business-class airline seat, first revealed in Design Week earlier this month.

Aircraft Interiors Expo will take place from 31 March to 2 April at the Hamburg Messe in Germany.

Branding for the show was created by Brighton-based Lime.
