Interbrand works on Ecover branding

Interbrand is working on a large-scale branding brief for ecological cleaning product firm Ecover.

The consultancy was appointed following a three-way pitch towards the end of last year, according to an Interbrand spokeswoman.

However, the spokeswoman says she is unable to provide details of the work, other than that it will be an initiative to help ‘maximise sales effectiveness across a broad and dynamic range of categories and geographies’.

Rune Gustafson, chief executive of Interbrand London, says, ‘We are delighted to be working with such a fantastic and engaging brand.

‘The brief is an exciting one for Interbrand as our expertise will be critical in further shaping and extending the success of an already powerful brand.’

Clare Allman, UK marketing manager for Ecover, says, ‘We felt that the Interbrand team brought fresh thinking to the challenges that Ecover is currently facing.

‘We feel that they will be great partners in helping us to continue optimising our brand to attain future growth.’
