The consultancy was commissioned to create the website in June 2009, following a three-way credentials-led pitch in April that year.
Robbie Honey says, ‘Our previous website was looking slightly tired. We wanted a fabulous, stylish site that showcased our work at its absolute best and provided a strong sales tool with longevity.’
Nelson Associates was briefed to create a site that customers could navigate easily and staff would be able to update quickly to include new work and products.
Nelson Associates creative director Christian Nelson says, ‘There were so many layers on the website before that it took several clicks before you could see Robbie’s amazing work. We wanted our clients to see the flowers wherever they were on the site.’
Nelson Associates also worked on defining the brand identity by developing the way the florist uses photography and language, both on the website and in print publicity.
