Social UK creates identity for Heart radio charity

Social UK has created an identity for charity Have a Heart – set up by Global Radio’s Heart network – and a campaign identity.

As a Global Radio retained consultancy, Social UK was handed the project in December 2009.

Have a Heart will raise money through the 33 regional Heart radio stations across the UK and award grants to ‘grassroots projects’ in support of a different charity each year, starting with the Starlight Children’s Foundation.

Addressing this proposition, Social UK project manager Rachel Philips says the identity ‘unifies the charity’ and acts as ‘a strong brand in its own right, while staying true to the characteristics and personality established by the main Heart brand’.

A Have a Heart appeal starts today on the Heart network and will run until 19 March. A campaign identity will be rolled out across print and online advertising, T-shirts, balloons and collection tins.
