DWHD creates collateral for City Year London charity

DWHD has designed an awareness brochure for new charity City Year London and created a website for a photography exhibition promoting the charity.

The international charity, which matches mentors with young people to help them make positive life decisions, was set up in London in September and approached speculatively by the consultancy in October 2010.

Titled Full of Purpose, the brochure, which launches on Friday, uses some existing assets including the photography of Katie Higson, which consultancy co-founder Will Pocknell says ‘Captures City Year’s work perfectly but was only being used internally’.

It was also important to ‘Anglicise’ the brochure for the UK market ‘through design and wording’ as the incumbent design had a US leaning, according to Pocknell.

A website, fullofpurpose.org.uk, that will be supported by printed collateral has launched to promote Higson’s photography exhibition, which focuses on the work of City Year London.
