Can you take on the challenge of a 25-hour doodle?

Proving that comic relief events need not be all about baked-bean baths and Miranda off the telly waxing a rugby team’s armpits, Studio Monty has found a far more palatable way to raise money for charidee.

The design group will be undertaking the mammoth task of a 25 Hour Doodle this weekend at the Boxpark shopping mall in east London.

Slightly disappointingly, this won’t be in one Lizzie Mary Cullen style endurance-testing stint – the 25 hours are split over two days, making things slightly more manageable.

Studio Monty is comprised of three chaps – all, oddly, named Olly – and they will be doodling away throughout the event, using red and black pens on a large sheet of paper housed in one of Boxpark’s shipping containers.

Other illustrators will be joining them and members of the public, regardless of ability, are invited to have a doodle too, making their mark on this philanthropic work of art in return for a donation.

The final doodle will be auctioned with all proceeds going to the Comic Relief Charity.

The 25 Hour Doodle will take place for 9am – 10pm on 14 March and 10am – 10pm on 15 March at Unit 56, Boxpark Shoreditch, 2-4 Bethnal Green Road, London E1
