A round-up of this week’s news in brief.

Kingsmill Great White
 

BrandOpus has designed the packaging for Kingsmill’s new Great White bread, a product that ‘has as much fibre as wholemeal’, according to the consultancy.

The One Off has designed Primark’s Baby Fashion 2014 campaign, using ‘light-hearted photography’. Yo can watch the campaign video here.

Manchester-based consultancy LDA has created a new campaign for Manchester United Soccer Schools (MUSS), #icanbe, which aims to encourage children to ‘ get their football boots on, get out in the fresh air and show off their fancy footwork and skills’, says MUSS head Edoardo Abis.

Bulletproof has created the visual identity for Heineken’s new ‘Odyssey’ Legends campaign, shown across packaging, digital touchpoints and in store promotion materials. Part of the campaign is the  ‘Take the Stage’ promotion, which ‘invites adult consumers to show the world their legendary talents on one of three celebrated Heineken stages’, says Bulletproof.

Little Turban
 

Slice Design has created the branding and packaging for Little Turban Indian curry sauce range. The designs are inspired by Henna tattoos, and are based around the proposition ‘Tradition with a Twist’, says the consultancy.

Hofesh Shechter has directed a teaser film for this year’s Brighton Festival, taking place in May. The festival’s branding was overhauled by Johnson Banks last year You can watch the video here.

Charge
 

Butcher & Gunderson has worked with the band Elbow and Marston’s Brewery to create designs for the Manchester-based indie group’s new beer, Charge. The designs use black and white illustrations and a sans serif typeface,  ‘to bring it into the modern day’, according to Butcher & Gunderson.

Consultancy MRA has designed new interiors for fashion brand Matchesfashion.com. The brand has 14 outlets in London,  and MRA’s new concept will consolidate the four Wimbledon stores into a single space.

Frank Harris and Co identity
 

Bristol-based consultancy Workbrands has designed a new identity for London estate agent Frank Harris & Co. the new logo uses abstract shapes to form the company’s initials, FH.

Consultancy Not To Scale and Mat Maitland of Big Active have collaborated to create a campaign for fashion and luxury specialist agency, AR New York. The campaign features six films for the Airport retailer T-Galleria’s International Duty Free Shopping Boutiques in collaboration with the Burberry, Chopard, Ferragamo, SKII, Coach and Longines. Turley
 

Tothepoint has designed new branding for planning company Turley Associates. The new name – Turley – and branding aims to show the company as ‘a bold, forward thinking, creative planning company whose huge depth of knowledge across its six core services [planning, design, heritage, economics, sustainability and engagement] provides added benefit and insight for their clients’, says Tothepoint.

Sun Branding Solutions has been appointed by food company Moy Park Limited to implement its bespoke ODIN software, aiming to ‘help streamline packaging processes and support future growth and scale of the business’, according to Sun.

Helen Taylor has been appointed as client services director at Elmwood, and will be based in the consultancy’s Leeds office. Taylor is a former marketing director at healthcare brand Seven Seas.

Taj

Brash Brands has created a new identity for London hotel St James’ Court, which is owned by the Taj Hotel Group. Brash Brands worked with Tata Elxsi on the project.

Supple Studio founder Jamie Ellul has been appointed as the new chair of the West of England Design Forum. Ellul replaces Emma Collins, who is stepping down after three years in the role.

Island

Ziggurat Brands has created a new look for Island Bakery, a biscuit brand based on the Isle of Mull in Scotland.

The Team has been appointed to work on the digital experience for English Heritage, which will guide a recent rebrand of the organisation across channels including smartphones, tablets and desktop. The Team was appointed following a six-way pitch.

Lick

Consultancy This Way Up has created new packaging for frozen yoghurt brand Lick, which references the ‘indescribable moment of pleasure in licking frozen yogurt’.

Cyber-Duck has helped employee engagement company Planet Jockey to produce a leadership game aimed at FTSE100 companies, in which the player takes the role of chief executive of a troubled organisation.
