Print Isn’t Dead
Print isn’t Dead! declares People of Print, in its drive to create a beautiful new quarterly publication.
We’re inclined to agree – particularly when print looks this good.
People of Print is a website for creatives, showcasing work of those working in print.
Now, its looking to spread its message off as well as online, compiling the site’s content into a physical tome, and presenting it alongside additional matter such as interviews with studios and print companies.
As with the People of Print site, there will also be a directory.
Print Isn’t Dead is currently at the Kickstarter phase, looking for backers to make this papery dream a reality.
‘Print Isn’t Dead is supporting the world of print for the expansive community who appreciate the merit of its craft’, says People of Print.
‘It also brings the online content back to its original passion for print in its tactile form’.
Those who pledge their support will be rewarded with delights such as Kyle Platts stickers, a sweatshirt designed by Andy Cook or a subscription to the magazine, which will be printed by Butler, Tanner & Dennis.
Organisers say the first issue will be limited to a run of 1000 copies, though if the Kickstarter goal is exceeded, this will rise to fulfil the number of orders. Funds raised from each issue will be used to fund the next.
