Hoppen up for women’s achievement award

Interior designer Kelly Hoppen has been shortlisted for the European Women of Achievement Awards.



Interior designer Kelly Hoppen has been shortlisted for the European Women of Achievement Awards.



The accolade given to women who have had an important influence on the European stage is in its 17th year and will take place at Grosvenor House in London on 6 July.



Jane Holdaway, chairwoman of the EWAA, says, ‘The aim is to strengthen and deepen the influence of women on European affairs for the benefit of all and Kelly has that role.’



Hoppen, managing director of Kelly Hoppen Interiors, has worked for Wedgwood, BHS and British Airways.



‘Its wonderful to be shortlisted for such an award. If I win I will be in tremendous company along with some fantastic role models for influential women,’ she adds.



Previous winners of the accolade include athlete Paula Radcliffe, broadcaster Angela Rippon and yachtswoman Ellen MacArthur.
