Patterson joins Carré Noir

Carré Noir, the brand consultancy of Publicis Groupe, has appointed Andrew Patterson as the new creative director of its London office.

Patterson, formerly a senior designer at Coley Porter Bell, has been brought in as part of Carré Noir’s plan to expand its creative presence in the UK market.

According to Carol Lavender, managing director of Carré Noir, for the past four years, the London office has relied on a freelance network in the UK. ‘Now we need to have a creative head as a presence in the UK market. We would like to do a lot more of the consumer marketing side of things,’ she says.

‘Carré Noir’s got a wide range of clients and opportunities. I wanted to spread my wings and saw this as an opportunity to bring together all my skills,’ Patterson adds.

Habib Patel, former senior designer for Ogilvy advertising agency, has replaced Patterson at Coley Porter Bell.
