Branded food group Conival this week launches a range of health-inspired juice drinks under the Blenheim Palace Provisions label, with packaging by London consultancy Z&Co.
The juices complete the Blenheim Palace Provisions range, which include premium fruit desserts. Z&Co has been working on the development of the range for 18 months, having been appointed on the strength of an existing relationship with Conival.
Z&Co studio manager John Osborne explains that the consultancy took ‘the orchards and world estates’ of Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire as the inspiration for the packaging and graphics. The focus of the packaging is on the ‘tongue-in-cheek’ collage of a crest, which plays on the ‘quintessential English values of the brand’ and is contemporary, while reflecting a premium positioning. The rest of the packaging, Osborne says, has been kept fairly neutral.
Conival also owns Sparky Brand, a range of health-focused juices, the packaging for which was designed by Williams Murray Hamm.
