Design Conspiracy create Trinny and Susannah roadshow

The Design Conspiracy is behind the creation of an Obama-and-Hillary-style roadshow for TV fashion advisors Trinny and Susannah.

The London-based consultancy has created the designs for banners, posters and rosettes for the fashion duo’s ‘Brighten Up Britain Campaign’ which will feature in the pair’s next TV series, scheduled for broadcast this autumn on ITV.

The designs will feature on a Trinny and Susannah campaign-bus, which tours the nation in an attempt to add some colour to people’s wardrobes.

‘We developed a Union Jack flag illustration and applied a 15-strong colour palette to it, reflecting the couple’s plan of action to rid the nation’s wardrobes of black and get more people in the UK wearing colourful clothes,’ says The Design Conspiracy director Ben Terrett.

The look of the campaign is ‘intended to capture the glamour and razzmatazz often seen in American politics and we drew inspiration from the banners waved in US elections,’ he continues.

The consultancy was appointed by ITV at the beginning of this month, after a researcher phoned the company to see if it could produce the designs for them within a week.
