Jumpstart revamps Mini restorer’s website

Jumpstart will be the first design consultancy to work on the website for Mini restoration specialist Wood & Pickett.

The Sussex-based consultancy will also be updating the company’s logo in time for the biggest Mini event of the year, the London & Surrey Mini Owners Club’s London to Brighton run on 18 May.

Jumpstart director Fiona Mulliner says, ‘We worked with a broad brief, which was to make the site easier to use.’

She adds, ‘We are lightening the colour-scheme, making it a traditional [British] racing green in keeping with the company’s heritage.’

The website will feature a bespoke shopping cart system to enable classic Mini owners to find and buy spare parts, and is creating an on-line gallery to showcase restoration projects.

Mulliner says Jumpstart was appointed in March through a word-of-mouth referral.
