Lambie-Nairn is the latest design group to announce the opening of a central European office.
Based in Munich, the office will open on Monday and will be used to tap into the emerging markets in Eastern Europe including Hungary, Romania, Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
Lambie-Nairn chief executive Christian Schroeder explains, ‘We can build on our existing client base from Germany, looking at further opportunities in what is fundamentally an untapped market to the east. There’s a huge marketplace across Hungary and Romania. That’s one of the reasons why Germany remains the gateway to Eastern Europe.’
The Munich office will be led by senior client director Elisabeth Pohl, who was previously client director for Landor Associates in Hamburg, working with clients O2, Sunrise Telecom, Electronic Arts, Eurosport and Fifa.
Lambie-Nairn has worked with O2 in the UK since 2001, and will now be able to service the brand across Germany, the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
