Birmingham-based design group D8 has been appointed as the brand and development consultancy for Birmingham Contemporary Music Group.
BCMG, which performs, promotes and teaches classical music, selected D8 after a strategic competitive pitch against three other groups, having received 40 submissions.
Keith Dodds, creative director with D8, says he expects to be working on ‘promotional material to bring the BCMG to a wider audience’.
Dodds says it is ‘too early’ to say whether D8 will be working on a new identity or website for BCMG, but he confirms D8 is working on a separate project for the client, unrelated to the appointment, which he calls ‘a brochure to promote learning’.
Communication materials, brochures and flyers will make up the majority of work with the client in the future, according to Dodds.
