Design Bridge cuts London staff

Design Bridge says it will be reducing staffing levels at its London headquarters in a group-wide restructure.

In a statement, the consultancy, which has offices in London, Amsterdam and Singapore, says, ‘The UK is experiencing the deepest recession in 30 years, hence marketing services revenues have fallen around 10 per cent from 2007-8 peaks during recent trading periods.

‘The consequence of this is that, unfortunately, we will have to look at our staffing levels in London over the coming weeks as we restructure to reflect changing client needs.

‘We expect employee numbers to be fairly consistent across the group throughout the year, with a slight reduction in London to reflect the changing shape of global revenues.’

The restructure will also see teams built around new client business director roles in each of Design Bridge’s offices.

The consultancy was unavailable for further comment at the time of going to press.
