Fudge identity for youth learning programme

Bolton-based consultancy Fudge has created an identity and website for north Staffordshire-based organisation Partners in Creative Learning.

PiCL, which launched last month, has been set up to develop creative work with children and young people, and help deliver the Government’s Creative Partnerships programme.

Fudge has created an identity and website for the organisation, both of which will launch on 1 June.

Andrew Birley, client services director for Fudge, says the consultancy was appointed following a pitch in January against three north Staffordshire consultancies.

He adds that Fudge got on to the pitch at the last minute, as someone from PiCL was on the panel for a successful pitch the consultancy made for a rebrand of North Staffordshire Creative Industries just two days before the PiCL pitch.

Birley says, ‘[PiCL] is not a very public-facing organisation, so we had to take an organisation-to-organisation approach and make sure the branding could be used across a wide range of collateral.

‘This was an inspiring project to work on, both down to the specific technical requirements and the fact that PiCL’s activities resonate with Fudge’s corporate social responsibility strategy.’

After appearing on the website, the brand will also be applied to a range of collateral including business cards, letterheads and stationery.
