Tent London to debut digital exhibition

This year’s Tent London will feature new exhibition Tent Digital, which will showcase digitally enabled design in products, technology and the Web.

Tent Digital will be hosted in a 1000m2 space in the Truman Brewery, London E1, during Tent London, which runs from 24-27 September.

This year Tent London will not just run alongside the London Design Festival, which runs from 19-27 September, but also alongside London Digital Week, which runs from 21-27 September.

The Art Fund Pavilion, designed by US architect Tina Manis Associates for Tent London, The Lightbox and the Architecture Foundation, will be sited in Covent Garden during the LDF.

Tent London’s Content show, a multi-disciplinary exhibition, will double in size, expanding to the entrance of the show.

The organisers say there has been a particularly strong uptake from Japanese and South Korean designers this year, with Japanese graphics consultancy Nendesign and South Korea’s Iwashin Design Studio already signed up.

Other Tent inititives will include micro-show Made in Bergen, an exhibition by six Norwegian designers, and the Talent Zone, featuring new designers.
