Central St Martins students open pop-up shop

Students from Central St Martins College of Art and Design’s graphics course are opening a pop-up shop to fund their degree shows.

Based on London’s Clerkenwell Road, the 2060 store will feature works by 103 graphic design BA (Hons) undergraduates. Each student is making 20 pieces, adding up to a total of 2060 items.

The shop is the final stage of a six-week project investigating manufacture as part of the design process. Besides selling their work, the students will be running workshops for visitors to get involved in.

The money the students make will go towards funding their degree shows this summer.

The pop-up shop will run from 1-7 June. For more details, visit http://www.csmpopup.com.
