50 Shades of Graeme
Manchester-based consultancy Telling Stories has created a new identity for photographer Graeme Cooper, as well as a quarterly publication entitled Shades of Graeme.
Cooper is a long-term collaborator of Telling Stories. The consultancy’s design director David Thompson says, ‘Over several “dinner dates” to really get inside his head, we concluded that Graeme stood out as someone who was very good in many different genres.’
The consultancy came up with the concept of the Shades of Graeme quartlery publication. Each issue will be put together by a guest editor, who will choose a selection of shots from Cooper’s portfolio, presenting a different ‘shade’ of his work.
The first edition has been written, designed and edited by Telling Stories.
Telling Stories also created a monogram logo for Cooper, based on his initials, and developed his website with digital consultancy Modern English.
So far from looking at this and wondering why I’m meant to have had my socks blown off.did i miss some thing ?
It’s great to be shot down in flames occasionally…? …
… no David, you haven’t missed a thing… as with all things in life one sees what one wants to. It’s never really been my mission in life to ‘blow peoples’ socks off’… maybe you should take up some other hobby to achieve that result rather than reading Design Week. :o)
