As broadcaster and bike fiend Jack Thurston says in the introduction, ‘Anyone who appreciates good design cannot but appreciate the bike.’

And Bike v Design – designed and art directed by consultancy Six, certainly offers plenty of opportunity for bike appreciation.

The publication is something of a taster for the Bike v Design event, which is being held at the Design Museum on 7 September, to coincide with their current Designed to Win sport exhibition.

The event will feature a pop-up cinema, a demonstration of saddle manufacturing from Brooks, and talks from the likes of bike-makers Charge and Condor.
