The office is headed up by managing director Thomas Jauss, formerly digital brand consultant at Interbrand, and will focus on ‘digital brand strategy consulting, designing and executing digital platforms, websites, asset management systems, mobile and touchpad apps’, according to Dragon Rouge.

The office is currently staffed by eight people, though Jauss says this may vary depending on the client or the nature of the project. It is unknown at this stage whether any UK-based Dragon Rouge staff will move to the office.

Jauss says, ‘The office will serve two functions – it’ll be building digital services and strengthening this offering in the group; and second to be part of the international [Dragon Rouge] network.’

He adds, ‘A lot of clients have their international European headquarters in Zurich, so it makes sense.’

The Zurich office lists current clients as Textrace, a company that creates Radio-frequency identification (RFID) textiles, for which it created the digital strategy and website.

Jauss says that other current clients include those from Paris, London and Zurich, though would not disclose further details on the projects.

The consultancy also has offices in London, New York, Paris, Hamburg, Warsaw, Shanghai, Dubai and Hong Kong.
