Ploum for Ligne Roset by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec

The Ploum sofa is likened by its designers to a ripe, voluptuous piece of fruit. Its generous dimensions and slightly closed angle encourages sitters to move closer together, encouraging conversation, and its shape accommodates a number of postures.

Piana

Piana for Alessi by David Chipperfield

Architect David Chipperfield has designed the Piana folding chair for kitchen brand Alessi. Alessi says the chair, which is manufactured by Lamm in Italy, is light, sturdy, environmentally friendly practical and available in a series of colours.

Bocci

19 by Bocci Design & Manufacturing

The 19 series of decorative bowls has been developed by Omer Arbel’s consultancy Bocci. The series has been created using a sand-casting technique, where a shape is pressed into sand and metal is poured into this void. The overspill forms a textured finish at the rim of each bowl.

Haven

Haven for Allermuir, by Gabbertas Studio

Haven was developed as a furniture system for workplaces, receptions and airport lounges that would allow for different types of activity, such as working alone, holding presentations, conducting meetings or simply relaxing. Haven features a series of screens, sofas, benches, headrests and tables that can be used on their own or in conjunction with each other in a range of different configurations.

Eleven

Eleven for Alias by Pearson Lloyd

Eleven is a comprehensive sofa system developed for both contract and domestic markets, featuring an armchair, a two-seat and a three-seat sofa. The design references the Grand Confort by Le Corbusier and legs and upholstery are available in a range of colours, either for contrast or to integrate them visually.
