Marc&Anna designs Artsmark toolkit
Marc&Anna has designed a toolkit for Arts Council England’s Artsmark award, which will be sent out to 1700 schools across the country.
Marc&Anna is rostered by the Arts Council and was appointed to the project in March on the strength of previous work for Artsmark.
Artsmark is a national programme which according to Arts Council England ‘enables schools, further education colleges and youth justice settings to evaluate, celebrate and strengthen a quality arts offer.’
Two toolkits have been designed, for children aged 7-11 and 11-16. Each contains a booklet, certificate, poster, and set of art prints for display.
The materials, which use a palette of Pantone Gold and Cool Grey, have been finished with embossing and blind embossing.
Bow Arts has produced original artworks which have been incorporated across the materials; one for primary and one for secondary schools.
The toolkit is packaged in a bespoke box designed by Marc and Anna which will be used for postage when the packs are sent out on 2 July.
In addition Marc&Anna has designed a plaque for 300 winners of the Artsmark Award, which will be an aluminium certificate, set under a raised piece of Perspex.
There’s a certain irony when a pack aimed at teachers is missing an apostrophe:
Teachers’ toolkit
Quality indeed.
