Pushy Parents – designer babygros
Distil Studio has launched Pushy Parents, a new, design-led babygro business.
The consultancy has created the name and identity for the company, as well as the graphics which feature on the products.
Distil Studio creative director Neil Hedger says the name Pushy Parents is ‘quite tongue in cheek’ and that the design ideas have been born out of his own experiences as a parent.
A marque has been created as a ‘big P little p’ icon which is also a reference to learning and books.
The design and the naming allow for any possible expansion into educational toys says Hedger.
Six baby grow designs have been created, based on ‘the truths of parenthood,’ says Hedger who adds, ‘It’s not just a nice graphic on a t-shirt.’
The Bum Note Babygro, featuring a trumpet graphic which sits near the baby’s bottom, references how ‘little babies are always trumping,’ says Hedger.
Hugs All Round Babygro is a nod to ‘endless coffee mornings where everyone wants a cuddle,’ Hedger says.
The Milkula Babygro, meanwhile, draws a parallel with baby’s vampirical tendency to ‘want milk in the middle of the night,’ according to Hedger.
Love them. Where can we buy these?
Not sure if I can provide a link here so just google ‘pushy parents baby grows’…
