The graphics of Harry Potter

One of the joys of the Harry Potter films (an occasional guilty Design Week pleasure) is the graphic world created for the series by consultancy MinaLima.

Through details such as posters, newspapers, books and labels, the consultancy created a fantasy-based yet somehow credible aesthetic for the films.

Vintage-style designs include the Daily Prophet newspaper and Quidditch World Cup posters, as well as packaging for merchandise such as the Electric Shock Shake (available from Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes).

All were designed on the Harry Potter film set, at Leavesden Film Studios, Hertfordshire.
