Following its smash hit mobile game Whale Trail, which allowed you to fly a whale through a psychedelic landscape, the folk at Ustwo have released minimalist tile game Blip Blup.

The Blip Blup release comes as the consultancy, which works on digital projects for the likes of Sony, H&M and the BBC, launches is own dedicated games studio.

Dan Gray, who is joining as games producer at Ustwo, says, ‘We’re not looking at limiting ourselves to a specific genre of game or audience – our aim is to experiment and innovate.’

In Blip Blup, players can tap a tile to send out a pulse of colour. The aim of the game is to colour all tiles in as few pulses as possible.

Of course, game changing tiles and unique mechanics in each of the 120 puzzles can come into play.
