The new bt.com site, which launches next month, will feature exclusive news content, provided by a team of journalists from the Press Association.
Customers will also be able to access email accounts, billing information and service updates.
The new BT Sport offer, which was branded by Red Bee Media, is also launching in the summer, and will provide exclusive live sports action to BT customers.
Nick Wong, director of online for BT’s consumer division, says, ‘The new bt.com has been developed to make things easier and more engaging for our customers. They will only have to log in to this single site for all their requirements.’
BT says that although LBi created the new site, BT has recently engaged Sapient Nitro to develop its web design projects, and this consultancy will be working on ongoing visual design work.
