YCN Studio for ChildLine
Tackling a sensitive subject with admirable subtlety and imagination, YCN Studio has created this animation for ChildLine, which offers support to young victims of sexual abuse.

The consultancy says it aimed to tackle the issue that many young people have immense difficulty ‘finding the words’ when they try to talk about their problems.
Focusing on this, YCN Studio staged a conversation between a young person and a ChildLine counsellor, which is expressed typographically.
The script was developed in consultation with ChildLine counsellors, and the film was animated by Buck in Los Angeles, which cell-animated the film by hand. Sound design was developed by Ant Food.
The animation is intended to be a resource for young people and is hosted on the ChildLine website.
