Viaduct’s 25+ show brings biggest names in furniture and product together
Viaduct is celebrating 25 years of business with a product and furniture design show which will bring together pieces by the likes of Tom Dixon, Ron Arad and Philippe Starck and place their work alongside those of today’s emerging talents.
Billed as a selection of ‘50 favourites and bestsellers, the unforgettable and the magnificent’, Viaduct says the pieces will all be for sale, (although they won’t be taken away until after the exhibition of course.)
Works by the likes of Jasper Morrison, Maarten Van Severen, and Marcel Wanders will be included while ‘the new maestros’ will be represented by Muller van Severen, Jinil Park, Wonmin Park, and Mabeo.
Viaduct has been selling design pieces since 1989 and was set up by James Mair, who has in some cases looked to his own collection or those of the designers to secure pieces for the show.
While these are not for sale it is a selling exhibition and many of the older pieces are still in production, which is why it’s nearly all available to buy.
25+ runs from 15-23 May at Viaduct, 1-10 Summers Street, EC1R 5BD
