The creative industries come under the spotlight for the launch of Enterprise Week, which starts today.
With the aim of ‘inspiring young people in their teens and 20s’ to become more entrepreneurial, Enterprise Week will be used to host events across the country.
Personalities from the worlds of music, design, fashion and film are supporting a campaign to develop the growing creative sector with emerging talent.
Today’s launch of the Make Your Mark in Creative Industries initiative will be followed by a series of networking events on Wednesday in different fields of interest.
Danica Wilson at Make Your Mark in Creative Industries says, ‘We’re using Enterprise Week to highlight what enterprising, creative young people can achieve, in the hope that it will encourage others to follow their dreams and make their mark in the creative industries.’
