Glasgow’s Stand appoints planner

Anna MacLean, former marketing manager at Inbev, will take up her new role as strategic planner for Glasgow-based design group Stand this week.

She joins the consultancy after six years at Inbev UK, working on the Tennent’s lager brand.

Stand managing partner Maggie Croft, who first met MacLean at The Leith Agency in 1999, says, ‘We’re over the moon that Anna’s joining us. She’s one of Scotland’s most respected marketers.’

As well as working on business strategy, MacLean will also be developing the consultancy’s ethical and environmental policy. She says, ‘It’s such a pivotal stage in Stand’s development, and I’m delighted to be joining them at this time.’

Stand has also recently appointed Kenny Risk as creative services director, Craig Harkness as account director and Claudia Chase as designer.
