Sustainability across design and advertising is the first topic for discussion in D&AD’s Forum series, which starts tonight at Pentagram’s office in west London.
John Grant, author of the forthcoming book The Green Marketing Manifesto, and Solitaire Townsend, managing director of sustainability consultancy Futerra, will be among the speakers discussing good sustainability practice.
Earlier this week, D&AD launched its annual global student awards scheme.
The programme, now in its 30th year, will offer design students a range of opportunities, including the chance to create a mobile handset for Orange, to work on brand presence for Virgin Atlantic Airways, and to design sustainable packaging for fashion label Ted Baker.
