Minima hires prize-winning graduate

Minima Design has appointed prize-winning Coventry University graduate Chris Ager as its newest industrial designer.

Ager, described by the product design company’s chief executive Tony Stockman as ‘an exceptional young talent’, worked with the company during his placement year and has since claimed first prize in the Bugatti Trust Award and the Institute of Engineering Designers degree group prize.

Currently developing cutting-edge fibre-optic products for Minima’s sister company Miniflex, Ager says, ‘The opportunity to work on development projects of this magnitude doesn’t come along that often.’

‘The possibilities and forward-thinking approach at Minima, coupled with the gravitas of the company’s clients like British Telecom, Motorola and GlaxoSmithKline, helped me make the decision to return,’ he adds.
