The role office design can play in helping improve workplace performance will be discussed during a conference being held at Central St Martins Innovation, London WC1, today.
What is the Creative Workplace will bring together leading figures from the worlds of design, architecture, art education and management to discuss a range of key issues that are likely to influence the future direction of workplace design.
Areas under discussion include ‘Is your workplace snuffing out your creativity?’ and ‘Do creative people need an ideas-friendly workspace to be truly innovative?’
Those attending will have the opportunity to try out interactive technology that monitors the physical conditions of the workplace, including temperature, light levels and opinions of workers.
Speakers include Dr Frank Duffy, founder of design consultancy DEGW, and Charles Leadbeater, a leading authority on innovation and creativity.
