Red Bee Media is to open an office in Singapore today, following the consultancy’s expansion to France, China and Australia earlier this year.

From the Singapore office, Red Bee Media will be offering interactive design, media management, branding, promotions and editorial services.

Petri Nikula, Red Bee Media vice-president business development South East Asia, will head up the Singapore office. He has previously held positions at Microsoft and Nokia. The consultancy will be recruiting for staff imminently.

According to Pam Masters, chief executive of Red Bee Media, ‘Singapore will act as one of Red Bee Media’s digital hubs, serving the Asia-Pacific area and linked to our other offices in the region, such as the one on Beijing. We have chosen Singapore because of its strategic location, its vibrant talent-base, as well as its rich heritage in digital media.

The group’s clients in Asia include ESPN, i-Cable Hong Kong, ATV, Jupiter Entertainment and INX Media.
