S&G boosts digital offer with new creative chief

Omnicom-owned branding consultancy Siegel & Gale has appointed Richard Pasqua as creative director of its interactive division based in New York.

Pasqua joins from Nickelodeon US, where he was design director, managing creative execution for websites and games.

He has previously worked with clients including Red Sky Interactive, Xceed Interactive and Doubleday Direct Interactive.

Over the coming months, Pasqua will focus on building Siegel & Gale’s digital offer and extending its client base.

He is recruiting a number of interactive staff to bolster the NY team and is on the look-out for a design director.

‘Right now, it’s a hard to recruit digital and interactive staff, especially to find the calibre of creatives Siegel & Gale aspires to. The talent pool has thinned out a bit. We’re seeing more budgets going towards interactive, so that [digital] consultancies are becoming flooded with work,’ says Pasqua.

Strengthening the group’s London digital team will also be a priority.

Earlier this week, Siegel & Gale launched Brand Amplifire, a digital brand guidelines tool that uses the Google search mechanism, with the aim of halting the fragmentation of brand style across large organisations.

Siegel & Gale has offices in New York, Los Angeles, London and Dubai.
